He will then give you a vision of what is coming as we move into the landscape of technology and the future.

Skip will then share information about his new venture, The Meditation Prescription, and how it has been created in order to meet the many needs of stress reduction that are endlessly mounting due to areas such as technological expansion. He will share how stress affects our overall wellbeing and how important having a skill set to be able to deal with the mounting pressure of change and chaos that has engulfed humanity is a necessity for us all.

Scott Sorokin is a digital communications expert who has worked with a wide range of global marketers to maximize their relationships with consumers across the rapidly evolving digital and social landscape. Scott joined Mindshare in 2009 as Global Digital Leader where he oversees the global development and implementation of Mindshare’s digital communication efforts across all clients throughout North America and Worldwide.

He is skilled in building innovative service offerings in integrated marketing, digital and media, leveraging deep knowledge of both traditional and online methods. Scott is widely recognized as a pioneer and catalyst for aligning digital marketing with traditional and .com businesses to drive growth and seamlessly connect every touch point and media channel while activating a brand’s involvement in consumers’ lives.

Scott has created innovative integrated marketing solutions and best of class solutions for many Fortune 500 companies spanning the CPG, Technology, Healthcare/Pharmaceuticals, Financial Services, Travel/Leisure and Telecommunication sectors, providing holistic, integrated marketing and media solutions that are supported by data and led by consumer insight. He has been instrumental in helping clients meet and exceed their business projections through innovative digital solutions that connect brands to exponentially to consumers, fostering dialogue that generates brand advocacy.

As president of Aegis Media’s Carat, Scott led an agency reorganization that bridged the gap between digital and traditional services and helped enable Carat to provide integrated communications strategy, planning, and activation across all consumer touch points for such world class brands, such as adidas, Alberto-Culver, AOL, Motorola, New Line Cinema, Papa Johns Pizza, Pfizer, Philips Electronics, P&G, Hyundai/Kia, RadioShack, Wachovia and Revlon.

Prior to joining Carat, Scott was the global account lead at MRM Worldwide, overseeing the agency’s relationship with Intel Corporation. He also was Managing Director of Modem Media/Digitas West, where he led the integration of the Digitas and Modem offices.

In the early 90’s, Scott pioneered the digital world as Co-Founder and Managing Director of Grey Interactive Worldwide, one of the first interactive agencies in the world. At Grey, Scott established himself as one of new media’s leading strategic and creative thinkers, creating new media strategies for such Fortune 500 clients as P&G, Hasbro, Sprint and Dell, which grew from $7 million in annual revenues to $16 billion during Scott’s tenure.

Prior to the advent of the digital marketplace, Scott distinguished himself as an Executive Creative Director  creating numerous advertising and marketing solutions for a wide range of clients such as Coca-Cola, Citibank, Chase, Braun, Prudential, Gillette, Hasbro and IBM. He has received numerous industry honors from The One Show, Clio, NY Art Director’s Club, Communications Arts, Mobius, New York Addys, Creative Arts, Creativity, Cannes Cyber Lion, Cannes Media Lion, Casie, International Advertising Festival, Print, Telly, Webby and OMMA All Star Awards.
